First spring lights cheered up political and economical activities in the city. For a few days one could observe prime-minister's cortège running along the roads of Novosibirsk. Mr. Putin came to discuss perspectives of the region development.
"Exactly here, in Siberia interaction between science, education and production is well-coordinated. We well support it and reproduce in other regions" - said the prime-minister.
That is great, and even a greater thing is that government supports Siberian region not only by investments, including into technopark (which assembles leading companies and has great potential in innovation technologies and IT), but also by active promotion to the vast European markets. Inspired by these promotions, representatives of Finnish innovative and IT companies came yesterday to explore possibilities for cooperation with Novosibirsk businesses and technopark in general.
"We believe that there is potential to find a local best-of-breed partner to co-operate with as Novosibirsk is known as an IT focused city", stated one of the delegates.
Although all of the visitors were positively looking for business opportunities, one of the delegates mentioned that for majority of Europeans Russia still has "bugs" in legal, political aspects, and it's advisable to have representative offices abroad and legal entities organized and existing under the Laws of EU to get more trust from European partners and clients. I don't want to discuss the first part of the statement, but anyway, it's a proof for me we have chosen a called-for strategy when Fortess expanded its representation to EU. Advisable to follow strategy. :)
