Launch in Novosibirsk of NOVOSOFT software development company specializing at custom software development and its own product line.

By the year of 2000 the company hires the 500th highly qualified software engineer. Virtually all business domains are covered by offering services.
Gartner’s Research Note ranks Novosoft Inc. among Russia’s top five software development companies.

As a result of continuing business diversification Novosoft was split up into several separate business units.
One of the largest department with specialization in custom software development in telecom domain was reorganized into Fortess.

Launch of Fortess office in Germany. Fortess enables a new business model – nearshore software development, emphasizing much closer collaboration between companies and extensive possibilities of work at customers’ offices.

Launch of IT consulting & staffing services oriented on companies that cannot transfer projects offshore for many reasons and need temporarily engineering staff onsite.
Launch of independent testing services as a logical expansion of extensive experience in quality assurance of development projects.

Creation of “Mobile” R&D center to enable fastest adoption of newly appearing platforms to our customer’s needs
