Onsite or offshore testing?
To meet the needs of various IT companies, Fortess offers two geographical options for testing: onsite (at customer's office) and offshore (at Fortess' facilities, Russia).
Onsite testing is more preferable in case of complex equipment to be used in testing, which is not reasonable to be transported to Russia. We also suggest onsite phase at the start of long-term projects which require greater efforts in knowledge transfer.
Offshore testing is a better choice in terms of cost optimization. A combination of both is possible, for example, if part of software development is done by Fortess, and part - by the customer, we might offer to add continuous testing offshore and then send testing team onsite for integration testing at the final stage of the project.
